Cultivar Compost is rich in organic matter, brimming with beneficial biology, and has a fine granular texture that gives this compost a lighter, more friable quality, making it a pleasure to work with.

We craft a specific carbon to nitrogen ratio when mixing our recipe to meet the demand of the changing seasons, adding a natural bulking agent that increases the oxygen content and stabilizes temperatures in the windrows. After nine to twelve months of composting, the product is left to cure, further stabilizing and self-inoculating with beneficial microbes. The end result is a fine yet slightly granular texture that is nice to work with and provides a balance of structure and biology.
