This blend is a manufactured soil with a pecan brown color, screened to 3/8”, a fine textured sandy loam soil classification, and weighs 1,400-1,800 lbs/cubic yard. It has an organic matter content around 7-15% by weight and a neutral pH. Analytical data sheets provided upon request.

Trees and Shrubs: Planting woody perennials requires a soil where their roots can quickly and easily establish and grow. Planting directly into Spurt Dirt Plus or using it as a backfill mixed with the excavated soil for the root ball are both viable options. Spurt Dirt Plus will provide water holding capacity and biology essential for transplanting and establishing even delicate species.
